Moving Forward Green by Green Non-Woven Green Alliance Annual Meeting Determines New Direction of Development

On October 31st, “2024 China Technical Textiles Industry Association Non-Woven Industry Green Development Innovation Union Annual Meeting” was held in Xiqiao Town, Foshan, Guangdong Province. At the meeting, the work report and work plan of “Non-Woven Green Alliance” were considered, the constitution (management methods) was revised, the election of the general election was completed, and the seminar on the project of industry standard “Multi-fiber Mixed Jet Flow Mesh Nonwoven Fabric” was held at the same time.

The meeting was organized by the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association (CITIA). The meeting was chaired by Li Yuhao, Chief Engineer of China Industrial Textiles Industry Association and Secretary General of Non-Woven Green Alliance. The annual meeting was hosted by China Technical Textiles Industry Association, Sateri Group, China Textile Academy Green Fiber Joint Stock Company, Zhonglian Quality Inspection (Foshan) Inspection Technology Co.

Work Report:

Play a leading role, service industry green development

In the work report, Li Yuhao introduced the non-woven green alliance work in 2024. The Alliance actively explore new modes and paths of green and innovative development of the non-woven industry, promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry green development, to create an ecological green and innovative development of the industry, around the organization, capacity building, standards support, brand cultivation, industry responsibility and other aspects of a number of work, is committed to accelerating the promotion and application of green, commercial non-woven materials and products, to establish a green brand in the industry.

In the annual meeting, the Management Measures (Draft) of Non-Woven Green Development Professional Committee of CIECA was passed, and the Non-Woven Green Alliance Election Program was adopted. Mr. Yu Hanjiang was elected as the chairman of NWCA Non-Woven Green Development Committee, Mr. Zhang Zhenzhu and other 21 members were elected as the vice-chairmen, and Mr. Li Guanzhi from the Science and Technology Development Department of NWCA was elected as the secretary-general of the committee.

Chen Zhe was entrusted by Liu Tao, Chairman of Non-Woven Green Alliance and Vice President of Sateri Group, to attend this annual meeting. In his speech, he talked about how Sateri attaches great importance to environmental protection, reduces emissions as much as possible in the production process, and strives towards complete degradability. At the same time, it actively extends to the terminal to guide green consumption, and pushes the industry to develop in a healthier direction. In the future, Sateri will continue to support the Non-Woven Green Alliance and the green development of the industry.

Yu Hanjiang, Chairman of China Textile Green Fiber, said that state-owned enterprises should play the three roles of scientific and technological innovation, industrial control, and safety support, while practicing the concept of green development. China Textile Green Fiber is very honored to join the Non-Woven Green Alliance as the director member unit, and he expressed his gratitude to the industry association and Sateri Group for leading the enterprises' efforts in system construction, standard development, inspection and certification. He talked about the green development deep into the industry and the broad prospect of green industry. He hoped that the Non-Woven Green Alliance could work better in the future and promote the Non-Woven Green Alliance and the green industry to a new level.

“I have very deep feelings for the Nonwoven Green Alliance.” In her concluding remarks, Li Guimei, President of the CCA, reviewed the important achievements made by the Non-Woven Green Alliance since its establishment: firstly, it has strengthened the cornerstone of green development; secondly, it has explored and promoted the concept of green development; thirdly, it has deeply cultivated the green industry chain; and fourthly, it has led the industry to a new ecology of green development. Green development is always on the way, and the Non-woven Green Alliance will be committed to further advancing its work in depth, breadth and width. Li Guimei said that since its establishment, the Non-Woven Green Alliance has carried out a lot of pioneering work and summarized a lot of valuable experience in exploration, hoping that the road of development of the Non-Woven Green Alliance will be wider, broader and more practical in the new journey.
